Continuous Line Drawing:
With a pencil and any type of paper, start drawing a line and DO NOT pick up your pencil.
-You are "taking a line for a walk" and your line can do anything you want. It can overlap, it can be straight or curvy or zig zaggy. Use the WHOLE paper.
When you are finished, look at your design and draw 3 large shapes ON TOP of your design.
Shade with a pencil or use color (colored pencils, markers, crayons) to fill in the shapes you have drawn.
Lovely idea and example from Parvathi Kumar
